The Venues of the tournament of the Asia Cup were Dubai International Stadium and Sharjah cricket stadium. Last year we saw only three matches have been played in Sharjah cricket stadium, and 10 matches, including the final match, also were played in Dubai International Stadium. And the audience finally got their winner in the stadium of Dubai International Stadium, which was Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka defeated Pakistan in the final match and won the trophy in the cricket Asia cup.

Asia Cup Tournament's Format Of 2022

The format of the 2022 Asia Cup tournament was exactly the same as that was played in 2018. In Oman, four teams have participated in the qualifying match, including UAE, Hong Kong, Singapore and Kuwait. And from that particular match, the winner took the position among the other teams such as Sri Lanka, Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh. 

Even for the final format of 2022, the cricket board has decided to play the final tournament among 6 teams. In the Asia cup cricket and all of them were divided into two groups. In one group, we have seen the teams like India, Pakistan, Hong Kong and the Qualifier team. 

On the other side, in the second group, we have seen Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh. Each one of the teams played one match against the other and two to matches from the groups. From those two groups, the teams that played outstandingly went for the Super 4 round. From then, 4 teams fought among each other to take the final two positions in the tournament. And initially, we saw Sri Lanka and Pakistan make their position for the final match, and Sri Lanka won the final title of today's match Asia cup On September 11 2022.
